Today after church we had a picnic on our front lawn and then went down to the playground, took a visit to the outdoor stage where the kids sang and danced for us, and went on what Meg calls "an expedition" (ie. walking through the woods). It was a great day to enjoy the wonderful weather and all of the blessings we have been given. We love where we live and where we are at right now! How many people get to travel to many different churches and meet new people and be encouraged by so many? How many people have their own private playground and stage (a big one for the kids!)? In the midst of challenges and often discouragement when we are not where we would like to be, and worry about if an August departure will actually happen- it was good to be reminded of the blessings we have and that we are taken care of.
