Team Encouragement

Last nite was an exciting evening, and a great reminder. Two members of the Chiba team, Roberta Brown & Linda Karner came over for dinner to catch up and also ending up giving me a powerpoint lesson. How fun it was to sit around the table with these 2 women and catch up and hear what all is going on with the team and their roles etc. It gave me a little extra boost of energy and anticipation toward getting to Japan. I was reminded of the wonderful fact that we will be joining a team, not going at this alone. It encourages me that when we get there, there will be people there with the same goal in sight- that God would be worshipped among the Japanese and that through all of our unique roles and gifts, that that may come about. It is good to know that when we are struggling with living in a foreign culture, that there are people there to help us and remind us of why we are there. It will be great to be able to see first hand and up close the fruits of so many different ministries and the exciting things going on and how God is at work there. Thank God with us that He has called us to Japan and that He has provided a team of people for us to join and work with. We are excited and can’t wait to get there!!
