Ok- so it has been a while since our last posting. I was trying to be really good about keeping everyone up to date, but to be honest we have been in a funk recently. Overwhelmed with sorting and packing. Consumed with the whole support raising thing, the fact that we are not at 100% yet. We just got an email from our support raising coach (yes there is such a thing) that reminded us to take steps back and see how good God has been to us and remember to rejoice in what He is doing. Something we had forgotten!
Rejoice with us that God has provided SO many people who care about us and are behind us as we seek to go to Japan. That He has provided 78% of our need so far and we still have many more opportunities to share about the work in Japan with so many people.
Please pray as we will hopefully be meeting with our team leader in the next 2 weeks to work on the financial side and see if there is more that we can cut out to get us there by August.
Thank you for your prayers and love as often we are not available to so many of you as we are running around trying to get stuff done.

At least you have vacation with 2 very cool people coming up!
My suggestion: sit back, relax, enjoy time with family & friends while you still have it, and let God do the rest from here. Stop making phone calls every night. Stop checking email every hour. Stop watching that number on the spreadsheet stay the same. If God wants you in Japan in August, he will put you in Japan in August.
