Today we traveled down to VA to meet with our team leader to go over some finances and try to cut some stuff out, and to visit with several other couples who are all in the process of heading to Japan themselves. It was a great day to catch up and see people and be encouraged in where we are at and what we are doing, and see where they are all at. We are excited about these 3 other couples as they are all looking to get there next summer. One couple should be in language school with us for a while- they are going long term like us, and the other 2 couples will be 2 year workers- both expecting babies before they get there. We love that there are so many young couples joining the team at this time because it will be great for our kids to have so many other kids around- we definately will not be alone over there!
We are currently at 80% and are waiting on team approval for some of the cuts we wanted to make. Please continue to pray for the last 20% to come in quickly as well as thank God for the 80% He has provided- all locally. We really wanted to be careful that we were not gathering churches from all over because we did not want to have to travel a lot when back in the states- and He has provided that.
