This past weekend Rebecca's father Ariel Adams went to be with the Lord. Mr. Adams was diagnosed with lung cancer about a month ago. We had been finishing preparations to come back to MD for an extended time when we got the call to come back immediately. We made it back from Japan late Thursday afternoon and Rebecca had the opportunity to hold her fathers hand and talk to him. At that point he really couldn't communicate back but could squeeze her hand in response. His passing was quiet and peaceful, and for a lung cancer patient relatively short. It was probably as quick and painless a passing as anyone with his disease could have wanted.

Funeral Service: Tuesday, Dec. 11, 10-11:30am in the Chapelgate Worship Center.
Reception: To follow service, 11:45am-1:30pm in the Chapelgate Fellowship Hall (departure for cemetery at 1:30pm).
Interment: Garrison Forest Veteran's Cemetery, Owings Mills, Baltimore County, 2:30pm.
Mrs. Adams is asking that people make donations to the Deacons Fund at Chapelgate Presbyterian Church instead of sending flowers or fruit.
