Micah

Micah has had his surgery and the last I heard he is doing well. Apparently he has something where the muscle at the base of his stomach is too tight and so it is hard for food to pass through. By the time they got him into the hospital he was so dehydrated he needed to be on iv's for a whole day to get him stabilized before they could do the surgery. I saw him yesterday and they said he looked SO much better- even though the nurses and doctors kept saying he still had a way to go. He had surgery early this morning and should go home tomorrow- all better, no more problems.

We thank God that it was an easy fix and for his parents who were diligent to get him seen even though they were told he was fine- that God gave them the wisdom as to how to care for Micah and help him get the care he needed. Also for the skill of the doctors who performed the surgery to help little Micah get better. Please continue to pray as they go home early this week and keep an eye on him to make sure everything is fine.
