Battle of the Wills
We have been feeling exhausted, stressed and down right overcome recently. We are struggling. Titus is even more strong willed than Meg is, and for those that know her- know that that is pretty extreme! We have been battling him, and it seems he has been winning. Well- even when we do win, we feel like we lose. We have also been feeling anxiety over the quickly upcoming August and our hopes to be leaving for the field then. We have been feeling like we need to work harder, get this done by August, and when stepping back and looking at it- feel like there is no way. Today we were reminded of God's goodness. We received a call from a new supporter that has committed to pray for us daily! This brightens our day and reminds us that we are not at this alone. It is very humbling and extremely exciting to be told by someone you did not know just a few months back that they are willing, and want to, pray faithfully for us. Thank you to all of you who pray for us and are helping us through this extremely stressful time. Please continue to pray with us for God to humble us and work through us, and to get us to the field in August.

It's usually not all that helpful for some complete stranger to tell you that they know what you're going through. But I just have to say - I at least have some idea!
We have two young children with - with real personality as well. And I certainly can relate to what you're talking about. And here we are, also preparing to head for the field this summer. Sometimes it seems like we have mountains to climb first, and other times God gives us just a glimpse that He still cares and is still leading.
There is such a need in Japan. I know God can use you because of His great power.
