Here is a small glimpse of where we live. A local tv station came to the language school we go to to do a clip on it that aired on the equivilant of "good morning America". It was broadcast in the Tokyo and surrounding areas.
Some notes in order of showing about the clip so you can have a better feel for where we live:
1. The scene with the cars and then the couple walking with the child- this is the old main street for shopping- very touristy. This is less than 5 mins walking distance from our house and serves as a good place to talk with people and practice the little Japanese we know!
2. The big old house is right on our street
3. The room with all the people- we are practicing New years greetings (Kevin and I are on the right side)
4. The street where you see the people walking far off- this is the street we walk to school every day. A very beautiful walk!
5. The American couple at the end is the head of the language school and have been in Karuizawa for 8 years- so they serve as a great resource and help.
We hope you enjoy seeing a little bit of Karuizawa!

It looks like it is very pretty where you live. But much colder than it has been here.
That was great. It was neat to see where you are! Looks cold though. We have finally gotten some of it here.
