Update again...

Have some other posts almost ready... but they will wait for another day, please check over the next couple of days as they will be coming out slowly. I wanted to get this out so you can be praying: praise and prayers for this family member.

The most recent upate we have on Kevin's extended family member with the uterine cancer is this:

"She is out of surgery and it was successful. She tolerated the surgery very well and is now resting comfortably in recovery after her radical hysterectomy. She was in good spirits this morning and ready to get this behind her.

It is confirmed that she has cervical cancer. Unfortunately it had spread to a couple of the adjacent lymph nodes and has grown through the cervical wall. This will require her to do follow-up radiation therapy with maybe some modest level of chemotherapy.

The milestone day is Friday when they will get the pathology report. Most likely she will be in the hospital until Saturday."

Praise God with us that things went well and both she and her husband are in good spirits. Please continue to pray as she heals and has more in front of her to battle this cancer.
