Happy New Year!

As we ring in the new year we are reminded of the lostness of this country that we are in. In our monthly email update we stated that most all of the Japanese population will visit a shrine or temple within the first week of 2007 to pray for their year that is just beginning. This reminds us that we are in a country that is hard to reach, that as the Joshua Project website states "the Japanese people are the largest unreached people group". Jon Pfeil in a blog not too long ago states it well. It helps to remind us that while this task is impossible for us, that God can do a Mighty work here by using His people. Thank you all for your prayers and partnership in helping to reach this lost land of Japan. Please join us in prayer for the New Year that God would do a Mighty thing here.
