Easter

The kids are finally in bed at 9:30 (but not yet asleep- they are still on their high from the last several days). Friday we colored easter eggs with the Smiths (Ben's parents and two of their grandchildren), Saturday was an easter egg hunt out at church with activities afterward such as face painting and pictures to color etc. This morning was church and this evening was dinner and an egg hunt at Kevin's parents. The kids had a blast playing hide and seek and running around with their cousins. Here are some pictures from the past several days, along with a decent family photo.

On another note, last night we let them listen to a paws and tales on Easter. This is a podcast we have been listening to since we moved to Japan and really like them a lot. Each episode is a story based on these animal kids and there is a song at the end that goes with the story. The one on Easter is particularly good (I would preview it before letting kids listen though- depends on what you want your kids to know when).
